A salary structure is a framework that defines salary grades (levels like Junior, Mid, Senior) and steps (progression within each grade). Each grade has minimum, midpoint, and maximum salary ranges. You can create multiple structures and assign them to specific org units, positions, or employee types using applicability rules. The system supports multiple currencies (VND, USD, EUR, JPY).
Each employee is assigned a base salary linked to a grade and step in a salary structure. You can add fixed-amount or percentage-based allowances (such as housing, transport, or meals). The system automatically calculates total allowances and gross salary. Payment details including bank account information and tax-related data like number of dependents are also managed here.
Noova supports six salary review types: annual reviews, promotion-based increases, merit increases tied to performance, market adjustment corrections, probation-end reviews, and special reviews. Each review goes through a configurable multi-level approval workflow. Approved reviews automatically update the employee's salary on the specified effective date.
The platform supports 12+ benefit types including health insurance, life insurance, dental, vision, retirement, pension, gym, meal, transport, education, childcare, and wellness. Each benefit has configurable coverage options (employee only, employee + spouse, employee + family), employer/employee cost splits, provider details, and eligibility rules based on tenure, grade, and employee type.
